Defense (Lack Of) Costs Grizzlies at Golden State

Can anybody here play Defense?

That's got to be the cry of the Memphis Grizzlies now 5-games into the NBA Season.

The Grizzlies have the Offense thing down pat as shown in Wednesday nights' game against the Golden State Warriors..

10-time All-Star Allen Iverson with 18 points and 7 assists in 25 minutes off the bench.

He became the 16th player in NBA History to score at least 24,000 points in a career...

Rudy Gay with a Game High 29, to go with 8 rebounds as the Grizz raced to an early 13 point lead..

Only to see it quickly evaporate before the half, thanks to a matador defense that allowed the smaller Warriors to score 60-points in the paint..mostly on Monta Ellis, Stephen Jackson, and Corey Magette slashes to the hole.

Plus, Anthony Morrow Torches Memphis hitting 10-of-12, with 4 of 4 beyond the arc.

4-Warriors finished with at least 20-points.

Golden State wins it 113-to-105.

Grizzlies continue their road trip at the defending NBA Champion L.A. Lakers Friday night.
