Former Memphis Tigers Guard Antonio Anderson is taken with the 12th Pick of the First Round in the NBA Developmental League Draft by the Rio Grand Valley Vipers.
Anderson was part of the winningest era in Tigers Basketball History with a Sweet 16, 2-Elite 8 appearances and an NCAA National Championship game.
He made it to the last cut with the NBA Charlotte Bobcats this fall.
On a related note, Latavious Williams was the last pick in the D-League Draft first round taken 16th by the Tulsa 66ers.
Williams had committed to play for New Memphis Tigers Coach Josh Pastner, but reneged to try to play pro basketball. The Consensus top 10 prep recruit is the First High School player drafted by the D-League.
