MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Memphis police are searching for two men they believe were involved in a Wednesday evening homicide.

Officers were called to a shooting in the parking lot of the Hollywood Library, located in the 1500 block of North Hollywood, just after 9:00pm. There, they found a 19-year-old man shot to death inside his car.

Witnesses told police two men were seen running from the location shortly after the shooting.  As police searched for the men Thursday, Erica Mason and her 4-year-old son, Camron, were cautious.

"When I come up here, I got to start watching my surroundings," Mason said. "I don't want anything to happen to me and my little boy, or really anybody out here."

No one has been taken into custody in the shootings

"I think it's pitiful a lot of kids killing up each other around here," said Fremont Lowe, who lives nearby. "It's happening daily."

Lowe has lived in the neighborhood most of his life, and is worried about the crime.

"My biggest concern is the safety of the kids, because you never know what's going to happen," he said.
