MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Memphis police have located over a dozen weapons that were stolen during a robbery at a pawn shop Wednesday.

The incident happened just before 10:00 a.m. at Hollywood Pawn at Hollywood and James, where two armed men walked into the store and tied up its owner in a back room.

Investigators said the suspects shoved 18 guns and approximately $2,000 into a duffle bag before firing two shots at the store's owner. He was able to escape, but did not want to discuss the ordeal.

Betty Hunt, who works in a building next store, said she saw everything.

"I was scared as hell, because a bullet ain't got no name on it," Hunt said. "Anybody could have got killed."

Hunt said she could see inside the pawn shop from the adjoining convenience store through a window installed by a previous owner.

"It sounded like the wild, wild west in here," she said.

Hunt said everyone was lucky that no one was hurt, but hated knowing more dangerous weapons could be on the streets.

Police later said they had two possible suspects in custody, and had located the weapons stolen during the robbery.  Police said it was possible the pair robbed a barbershop earlier in this week right next door to the pawn shop.
