BARTLETT, TN (WMC-TV) - A 47-year-old man faces numerous charges, including his third DUI, after Bartlett police say he drove drunk through a school zone.

Larry Conlin's charges include evading arrest, reckless driving, public intoxication, and resisting arrest.

Police said Conlin was caught speeding through the school zone near Rivercrest Elementary off of Old Brownsville Road.

According to police, he initially refused to hand over any identification. Police said Conlin told an officer to get off his car and then drove away.

Police say they clocked Conlin at twice the school zone limit as they followed him to his nearby home. Once in the driveway, an officer had to use pepper spray to subdue a belligerent Conlin.

The police report said an 18-pack of Budweiser was found in Conlin's vehicle.

Conlin's license was revoked in Arkansas following two DUI convictions, and there's no record of him ever having had a driver's license in Tennessee.
