The University of Tennessee is naming a room used to host basketball recruits at its practice facility after former Volunteers guard Chris Lofton.
Several Tennessee boosters made large donations for the rights to name the room for Lofton.
The Kentucky native played from 2004 to 2008 and is the SEC's all-time career 3-point shooter, and ranks fourth on Tennessee's all-time career points list.
Vols coach Bruce Pearl joked that naming the recruiting room for Lofton was appropriate because -QUOTE- "only Tennessee recruited Chris Lofton and nobody else."
Lofton currently plays professional basketball in Spain.
