MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Tiger and Volunteer fans lined up early Thursday morning to get their chance at a good seat for Thursday's big game between the University of Memphis and visiting Tennessee.
From Tiger hats to Tiger Snuggies, fans wearing their blue and gray were doing their best to keep warm as they waited to get inside FedExForum.
"I've been here since six this morning, and my toes are already numb," Tiger fan Jennifer McCullough said. "I'm just ready to go in, but they're not letting us in till one this afternoon."
"I want to see this game," Tiger fan David Gayden added. "I missed the game last time."
In long the line of Tiger fans stood two lonely Big Orange supporters!
"I'm pretty outnumbered...that's OK. I can take care of myself," said Tennessee fan Drew Lewis.
Even though he's a Memphis student, Lewis proclaimed he was a fan of the Volunteers.
"Bruce Pearl is an X's and O's coach," he said. "I'll give Pastner credit, he's doing a lot better than other people do."
Meanwhile, members of the Tiger Blue Crew began camping out in the middle of the night. By dawn, they were doing all they could to stay busy and stay warm.
Most said being able to see the game is all that mattered.
"This is my last Memphis game and we're gonna beat UT," Jennifer McCullough said.
No matter what team they were rooting for, the loyal fans didn't mind battling the weather to support their favorite team.
