MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Memphis police arrested two men after stopping an 18-wheeler Wednesday night hauling palettes of stolen Red Bull energy drink.

The large amounts of the energy drink were stolen from the Millington Naval Base.

The NCIS said they do not have a dollar amount on the stolen drinks, or the number of energy drinks stolen.  Small cans of Red Bull typically retail for around $2.50 a can, with the larger cans selling for $4.30 a can.

NCIS also said that palettes of Red Bull have been disappearing from the base for the past four weeks.

Convenience store owner Wally Love said the stolen cans could have potentially hurt his sales.

"I'm glad they caught them because that'll probably cut our sales down some when you're buying them on the market cheaper," Love said.  "Hurts us a lot."
