Grizzlies Gay - Mayo / Former Tiger Rose Make Team USA Tryouts

The Memphis Grizzlies NBA Playoff stock may be falling a bit, lately...but it's on the Rise for a pair of their players on the International Scene..

Forward Rudy Gay, and Guard O.J. Mayo are among 27 players named to the USA Men's National Team Program.

The top 12 players will eventually be chosen to represent the U.S. In the 20-12 Olympic Games in London.

Gay is the Grizzlies 2nd leading scorer, averaging almost 20-points a game.

He lead all scorers in the USA Basketball Showcase last Summer.

He hit for 41 points at Miami back in December.

Mayo is the Grizz 3rd Leading scorer at 18 ppg.

He knocked down 40 points at Denver earlier this season, and also took part in the USA Basketball Showcase.

Joining Gay and Mayo on the National Team is former University of Memphis Guard Derrick Rose of the Chicago well as 9 holdovers from the 2008 Olympic Gold Medal winning squad.
