Grizzlies Keep Playoff Hopes Alive in Win at Sacramento

Score One for Perseverance..

The Memphis Grizzlies rallied from 14 down to win for only the third time in their history at Arco Arena, beating the Sacramento Kings 102-to-85.

Memphis Started out strong getting 10 points and 7 rebounds from Center Hasheem Thabeet, who was making his 4th straight start in place of the injured Marc Gasol.

Gasol did workout with the team before the game, and could return in time for Wednesday's game at Golden State.

The Grizzlies held a 2 point lead after one, but trailed by one at the half.

Memphis regained the lead going into the 4th quarter 75-70...

Forward Zach Randolph takes over as the Grizzlies all-time single season rebounding leader from Sharif Abdur-Raheem. Randolph finishes with 25 points and 12 rebounds...

That's his team record 50th Double Double.

It's also his 35th game this season of at least 20 points and 10 rebounds, another team record.

Sacramento, playing without former University of Memphis Star Tyreke Evans, who is recovering from a concussion, used an 8-1 run to tie  the game in the 4th quarter 80-all..but the Grizzlies close out the contest going on a 22-to-5 run.

O.J. Mayo scores 10 straight points down the stretch, he finishes with 20- points and 7 rebounds.

The Grizzlies win for only the Third Time in Arco Arena, Final Score 102-to-85.

Memphis is now 38 and 33 on the season...that combined with Houston's loss at Chicago, puts the Grizzlies back in 9th in the Western Conference, just 4 games out of the 8th and final playoff spot with 11 games left to play.

The Grizzlies next play at the Golden State Warriors Wednesday night March 24th.
