MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - A Nashville jury will come to Memphis for the trial of a man charged in the 2008 deaths of six people inside a house on Lester Street, a judge announced Tuesday morning.

Judge James Beasley partially granted a defense request for a change of venue in the trial of Jessie Dotson, saying the jury would be chosen in Davidson County.  Beasley cited a large amount of media coverage of the case as he announced his decision.

The trial is scheduled to begin in late September.  Jurors will be selected in Davidson County, and then brought to Memphis to stay during the trial.

Dotson is accused of killing his brother during an argument, followed by three other adults and two children.  He is also accused of attempting to kill three other children, who survived the attacks.

Dotson was captured on video as he told authorities about the killings, which was aired on A&E's "The First 48."
