MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - A teenager was shot to death Monday night outside a home in southeast Shelby County.
According to Shelby County Sheriff's Department spokesperson Steve Shular, just before 8:00 p.m., a boy, believed to be in his middle teens, was shot in front of a house in the 4600 block of Harvest Park Drive.
Witnesses said they heard gunshots and saw possibly two vehicles leaving the area moments after the shooting.
One vehicle was a white Nissan, while the other was an older model Mitsubishi Montero Sport.
The teenager, who was shot in the back, was rushed to the The MED, where he died a short time later.
A motive has not been determined in the shooting.
