COLLIERVILLE, TN (WMC-TV) - Police in Collierville are investigating an overnight home invasion.
Vickie Arnette didn't know what to think when she looked out her bedroom window and saw police at her neighbors home across the street.
"I didn't know what was going on," she said. "I thought somebody had gotten sick. That's the only time we see the fire department, is when somebody is sick or something like that."
According to investigators, two suspects entered the home on Main Street around 3:30 Wednesday morning. Authorities responded after they received a 911 call concerning a burglary in progress.
"It's scary," Arnette said. "I hate it happened to our neighbors. They're real nice people."
Wednesday, police released only limited information, saying two suspects were arrested, but have not been charged.
Arnette said a man who lives at the home was injured.
"He was hurt," she said. "He went to the hospital. I seen the ambulance. They took him to the hospital."
Arnette, who said her neighborhood is normally quiet, was shocked by what happened.
"A home invasion in our neighborhood, which I've never known anything like that to happen, it was shocking because it's a quiet neighborhood," she said.
Both suspects are being held at the Collierville Jail. Anyone with information on this crime should contact the Collierville Police Department.
