DRUMMONDS, TN (WMC-TV) - An autopsy report revealed new details Friday about the death of a Tipton County woman.

TBI and Tipton County investigators spent Friday focusing on every available resource as they worked to determine who murdered 36-year-old Starr Harris.

Friday afternoon, a preliminary autopsy revealed Harris died of blunt force trauma.  But, it could be weeks before sexual assault tests will reveal whether she was raped.

"We certainly want to rule that out, and I think there's no more solid evidence than any evidence that can be obtained through DNA, so certainly we're checking every avenue and possibility that would reveal that to us," said Chief Bill Daugherty of the Tipton County Sheriff's Office.

While detectives focused their energy on finding her killer, family and friends of Starr Harris are focused on saying goodbye, organizing a Friday evening vigil at the Munford city park.

Starr's husband, Rick Harris, spent the day preparing for her visitation Sunday evening at Munford Funeral Home, and her funeral Monday morning.

"Everybody that can show up to support her because she definitely didn't deserve this, as anybody that knew her knows," he said.

Patriot Bank has established a fund to help raise money to pay for funeral expenses.  Meanwhile, a Facebook that was set up was flooded with fond memories and prayers - gestures for which her husband was grateful.

"We have a lot of good friends," Rick Harris said. "A lot of people have been here. We have a lot of support for us, and I just want to say to everybody that we all appreciate everything."
