Trade Rumors Swirl Grizzlies and NBA as Draft Approaches

Could Z-Bo become a Minnesota Timberwolf?

Chad Ford of ESPN, had the Grizzlies in talks of trading Zach Randolph to Minnesota for the Timberwolves Al Jefferson.

Draft Picks would be involved both ways.

Ford now says that deal is dead because the Grizz don't want to give up any of their picks.

The 29 year old Randolph earned his First NBA All-Star Appearance last season as one of only 3-players in the League to average at least 20pts and 10rebs a game.

Jefferson, from Prentiss, Miss. is 4 years younger than Randolph, is also a Double Double Machine, but his averages were cut down last season after coming off Knee Surgery.

Randolph is due to $17 Million next season in the final year of his contract.

Jefferson has 3-years left on a deal that will play him $42-Million.

Grizzlies Owner Michael Heisley says there are No Deals until they're done, especially not in the media.

The Grizzlies held their Final pre-draft Workouts today..bringing in University of Texas Forward Damion James.

James is a Banger at 6'8" and 230 who averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds a game for the Longhorns as a Senior.

The NBA Draft is Thursday night.

The Grizzlies are having a Free Draft Party for Fans at FedExForum.

Doors open at 5:30pm.
