Grizzlies Going Summer League With Veteran Squad

The Memphis Grizzlies are ready to go to Summer Camp..and they're taking the kids..

The Grizzlies released their Summer League roster today..and it's full of Veterans...or in Grizzlies terms, guys with 3-years or less in the Pros..because, basically, that's mostly what they have on their Regular Team.

3rd year man O.J. Mayo will play the first two games, trying his hand at Point Guard before heading to the USA Basketball Tryout camp.

The rest of the Summer Roster included Hasheem Thabeet, Sam Young and DeMarre Carroll, who were all Rookies last year..

Grizzlies Draft Picks Xavier Henry and Grevis Vasquez will also play in Vegas.

That's 6 former First Round Picks a couple of Free Agents in former UConn star Jeff Adrien, and undrafted rookie Patrick Sullivan of Southeastern Louisiana.

The Grizz will play 5-games in 6 days in Vegas, beginning July 12th against the Atlanta Hawks.

Then it's the 13th against the Bucks, the 15th against the D-League Select Squad.

The 15th against the Twolves, and the 18th against San Antonio.

The Milwaukee and Minnesota games will be Live on NBA TV.
