MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Searchers hit the street again Sunday morning in search of a missing Memphis man.

Last week, they combed through a wooded area in Raleigh searching for 22-year-old Marlon Thomas.  Sunday, they searched in the opposite direction around the apartment complex where Thomas' car was found.

Thomas disappeared June 16.  His sister, Crystal Thomas, remembered their last conversation.

"He asked me what did I want to eat and I told him a few items that I wanted from the grocery store," she said.  "That was our last conversation."

Relatives and friends went door to door in the Raleigh Village apartment complex where Thomas' car was found days after he disappeared.  Damess Teamer was among the people searching for Thomas.

"He is a loved one and we desperately love for him to come home safely," Teamer said.

Searchers put up fliers and told everyone they could about the disappearance for several hours.

Crystal Thomas said each moment her brother stays missing is agony for family and friends.

"Whether he is dead or alive, we would like to know where he is," Thomas said.  "That's most important right now."

Relatives said Thomas would never leave without telling someone.  At the time he disappeared, Thomas was working as a clothing store clerk and as a barber.

A $1,000 reward is being offered in this case.  Police asked anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH.
