MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - A Memphis woman's body was found in an abandoned rest stop near Columbus, Ohio.

The body of 36-year-old Kim Vaughn was found by two Ohio Department of Transportation employees emptying trash at the rest stop where four other women were dumped in the last 20 years.

Vaughn was only wearing a shirt that had been pulled up.

Investigators said there were no obvious signs of trauma to Vaughn's body but they are treating the case as murder.  She was identified through fingerprint data.

Joe Killebrew, Vaughn's uncle, was shocked to learn the news.

"The whole family is upset," Killebrew said.  "We don't know what's happened."

Vaughn is survived by her three sons, ages 20, 16 and 9, who live in South Memphis.

"If there's someone out there who knows something about what happened, they need to come forward," Killebrew said.  "They need to come forward so we can know something."

Two of the women found dead near the Franklin-Pickaway County line by US Highway 23 in 2002 were convicted prostitutes.  Tonya Darden's nude body was found a mile away from where Vaughn's body was found.  Angie Coleman was also found nearby a month later.  Both cases are unsolved.  There are similar unsolved cases from 1993 and 1989.

In 2005, two prostitutes were murdered and their bodies found in Delaware County.  The man accused of those murders had charges against him dropped, but is in prison on other charges.

An autopsy did not reveal Vaughn's cause of death.  Lab tests will be done to try to determine how she died.

Investigators said Vaughn was last seen alive at about 2 a.m. Thursday near a truck plaza at an exit along Interstate 75 and I-40 in Knoxville.
