YOUR TURN: She’s mad about the construction

This week's "Your Turn" segment goes to Malinda Dean. Dean is upset about what she thinks is a lack of planning on the construction work being done on the Mississippi River bridges.

In her words:

"Could someone please explain to me why we would have both bridges down to one lane going east from Arkansas? Did anyone think this through? Memphis is the transportation hub of the United States and we cannot get into Memphis from the west without extended delays.  Tell me what is going to happen when an ambulance cannot get across either bridge and someone in desperate need of medical care dies waiting in the middle of the Mississippi on a backed up bridge. It's not like we have bad weather six months out of a year and we have to get all road repairs done in the summer. Come on people. Think."

That's Malinda Dean's turn. Now it's your turn. To comment on this segment or anything else, email yourturn@wmctv.com or call 800-465-1210.
