Memphis on the Move: Weekend of October 15-17

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Memphis is on the move this weekend, and with lots of entertainment events to choose from, there's sure to be something for everyone.

Its time for the Halloween event of the season. Make sure you check out the Corn Maze and Haunted Attractions at the Agricenter this Friday, October 15th from 6:00p.m. until 10:00p.m. The haunted attractions include a black hole, corn maze, terror trail, and haunted hay ride. Bring your flashlight, scaring is open to all ages. The scaretacular event runs through October 30th.

Saturday, you can round up your family and furry friends for a pawsome event. The Fast And The Furriest (5-K)Walk/Run starts at 9:00a.m., at the Humane Society in Shelby Farms. The event will benefit The Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County.

Also on Saturday, you can enjoy fun, food, crafts, bluegrass music and much more, at The 12th Annual Fall Folklore Jamboree. West Tennessee Agricultural Museum is hosting the event. The festival begins at 9:00a.m.

On Sunday, Levitt Shell in Overton Park, ends its 50 free concerts series, with the soulful sounds of smooth jazz vocal artist, Vaneese Thomas. She is the daughter of the late Stax Museum legend, Rufus Thomas. You can sit back and relax to smooth jazz, under the stars. The concert is free and begins at 7:30p.m.
