MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - A Mid-South woman is desperately searching for her husband after he disappeared earlier this month.

Jamie Beauchamp Teal last spoke to her husband, 27-year-old Corey Teal, as he was about to get off work at Coopertown Services nearly two weeks ago.

"He called me saying they're about to get off and he'd be home in the next 15 to 20 minutes, and he never showed up," she said.

Jamie, who divorced Corey several years ago, but has since reconciled with him, said she can't imagine what happened.

"I don't know if he pulled over on the side of the road to help somebody," he said. "I don't know what could have happened, or what has happened."

Corey has two children, 12-year-old Kyle and three-year-old Ana Marie.

"He needs to be the one to teach her how to ride a bike," Jamie said. "He needs to be here for his son when he plays football."

According to Teal, Corey used to have a drug problem, but has been clean for three years and submits to regular drug tests.  Memphis police say he used to frequent areas in North Memphis and North Hollywood, and Sam Cooper.

"I've handed out flyers in those areas at all hours of the night and day," Jamie said.

The day before Corey disappeared, he bought Jamie a gift.  Friday, she said it will stay wrapped until he comes home.

"I just know he's somewhere," she said. "I just need someone to help me find him."

Family members say Corey's 2004 Dodge Ram truck is very recognizable. The body is gray, but the hood is primed in black paint.  If you know anything that could help authorities find Corey Teal, call the Memphis Police Department at (901) 545-2677.
