BARTLETT, TN (WMC-TV) - Altruria Elementary 3rd graders Daelen Henry and Briana Rodriguez hope their Pepsi Max commercial is one of 6 Grand Prize winners in the Crash the Super Bowl competition that will air during Super Bowl XLV on February 6th.

"It would mean a lot to me. It would be very cool! But, if we lose, then it's okay, we had fun doing it," explained Daelen.

Dozens of homemade commercials for Pepsi Max and Doritos are already posted on the website and the first round of voting is underway. The finalists will be chosen by the number of views each ad receives. The staff and students at Altruria and several other MidSouth schools are showing support through views.

But, the adorable acting duo need more views to make the first cut to 10 and a SuperBowl trip to Dallas, along with a $25,000 prize.

The 6 Grand Prize winners will be chosen from that group and those 6 commercials will then air during one of this country's most watched nationally televised sporting events. And depending upon USA Today Ad Meter rankings, Daelen and Briana could earn up to $5 million dollars in bonus prizes, as well as the opportunity to be in more commercials.
