MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - A Memphis woman is behind bars, accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of furniture and then trying to sell it in her back yard.

Shaeroca Jones is charged with theft an accessory after the fact, after nearly two dozen break-ins at the Fox Lane Furniture Warehouse in Whitehaven.  Since September, more than $200,000 worth of furniture has been stolen from the store, and allegedly sold from Jones' house, located less than a mile away on Whitaker Road.

Wednesday, police brought the illegal sales to a screeching halt.

"(I saw) a lot of police, man," witness Michael Williams said. "Yeah, about 10 cars.  Had about four tow trucks over hear loading furniture up."

Friday, leftover furniture boxes still lined the area surrounding Jones' house.  Investigators said the stolen furniture was stored throughout the house, and when it filled up, in its back yard.

The owner of Fox Lane Furniture declined an on-camera interview, but said the thefts wiped out his equity, and jeopardize the future of his store.

Friday, Action News 5 visited Jones' house.  But after passing more empty furniture boxes, the person who answered the door said he had no idea what was going on.

Meanwhile, Jones' bond was set at $15,000.  Court records list her co-defendant as Terence Mitchell, who is also in jail, but has not been officially charged with a crime.

Fox Lane recovered approximately $70,000 worth of furniture, while the rest vanished on the Black Market, after filtering through Whitaker Road.
