MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Mid-Southerners may be asleep when potentially dangerous severe weather arrives in the early morning hours Monday.

Director of the Shelby County Office of Preparedness Bob Nations said you need to turn on your weather radio before going to sleep Sunday night.

This round of severe weather comes as people are still cleaning up from Thursday's storms.  MLGW got power restored Saturday night to everyone who lost power Thursday.

People who live on Benjestown Road near Shelby Forest were still picking up fallen tree limbs Sunday afternoon.

Doug Ivy was without power for nearly three days.  He said he is bracing for the next round.

"We got gas in the generator and we're ready to go," said Ivy.  "Because I know the power's going to go out when it comes again.  You can count on that."

Ivy said so many trees and power lines were down after Thursday's storm, he was unable to drive on the roads.  There were no reports of injuries in the area.

MLGW said it does have crews on standby Sunday night in case of more power outages.
