Two teens killed in late night crash

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Investigators said speeding may have been the reason two Mid-South teens died in a late night car crash Saturday.

Police said a Mustang was traveling southbound on Collierville-Arlington Road when it lost control, crossed the center line and was struck by a Chevy pickup.

Michael Cleveland, 16, and Zachery Watson, 18, both died on the scene.  The driver of the truck was not injured.

An investigation is underway into reports that the Mustang was speeding.

Neither teen was wearing his seatbelt.
