Teen pulls gun on woman in her own driveway

(WMC-TV) - Jill Williams lives in a quiet Vollintine Evergreen district near Rhodes College on Lyndale.  She got the scare of her life Thursday night when a teenager on a bicycle rode up and stopped to asked her a question.

"He asked my permission if he could approach," said Williams.  "If he could come into the yard."

Williams said at first, the teen acted like he was asking for directions.  He ten asked if she needed any yard work done.

"I said, 'I'm sorry honey, my son and I do all the yard work,'" said Williams.

The teen then asked if her son or husband were home.  She said no.

The teen was on a cell phone during much of the exchange.  He would ask her questions about yard work, then step away to talk on the phone.  He would then come back to ask another question as if he was being directed.

Williams said she finally became irritated with the teen, who she said appeared to be about 14 years old, was soft spoken and clean cut.

"I said, 'you know what, you are making me feel very uncomfortable, very uncomfortable.  You need to leave now,'" said Williams.

Williams said she and the teen were standing by her car in the driveway.

"He was standing where the back of my car is, and that's when he raised the gun, just pointed it right at my head and said, 'I'm sorry lady.  You made me do this,'" said Williams.

Williams started screaming loudly and the teen ran off.

Williams said a woman reported seeing the same teen on Snowden operating the same way Wednesday, but he did not stay long at that house.  Police are investigating.
