(WWBT/WMC-TV) - Richmond, Virginia detectives are investigating a weekend shooting that injured the 101-year-old grandmother of a former Tiger basketball player.

Police said Naomi Taggart was shot in the neck Sunday morning in her Richmond home during an argument between two of her grandsons over money.

Kevin D. McCray, 36, who lives at the home, is wanted on charges of attempted murder, use of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon for shooting at his brother.

His brother, Steven L. Taggart, 28, who also lives at the home, was arrested and charged on an outstanding aggravated assault warrant unrelated to the incident.

Shawn Taggart, who is Steven Taggart's brother and Naomi Taggart's grandson, played for the Memphis Tigers during the 2007-2008 season.  He was not involved in the incident. WTKR-TV reported he flew to Richmond from Memphis to be by his grandmother's side.

Police said further charges could be filed in the case.
