Fugitive sex offender arrested in Minnesota

(WMC - TV) - A fugitive sex offender who used to live in Perry County, TN, has been arrested in Minnesota.

The U.S. Marshals Service found Victor George Wall asleep in his girlfriend's home in Duluth, MN, early this morning.

The 43-year-old was convicted of molesting a child in Washington State two decades ago. Four years ago, he moved to Perry County, TN, not far from where Holly Bobo lived with her parent.

Bobo, who has been missing for months, was last seen last seen being led into the woods around her house by a man wearing camouflage.

Fred Moore, of the Perry County Sheriff's Department, says law enforcement checks out all sex offenders in an area where there has been an abduction like the case of Holly Bobo.

However, investigators were unable to locate Wall.

They say after moving to Perry County, he registered as a sex offender and a few days later was arrested for joy riding in a car he was not authorized to use. He spent 10 days in jail.

And until he was arrested this morning, he hadn't been seen since being released from jail.
