(WMC-TV) - A Mid-South teenager already charged with vehicular homicide has been busted again.
Since May, Samir Sakaan has been out of jail on $30,000 bond.
"I always tell my clients that they are guilty until proven innocent, and I also tell them to make sure they stay squeaky clean while out on bond," said Sakaan's defense attorney, Claiborne Ferguson.
Sakaan and a co-defendent, Holly Tyson, have been charged with criminal trespassing and public intoxication after recently ransacking the bedroom of a local home.
Ferguson said the latest accusations against his client are not true.
"Having discussed the facts with him, I think it's pretty clear that there are going to be two sides to this story," Ferguson said.
The charges could spell trouble for Sakaan, who was charged in May with DUI and vehicular homicide. In that case, Sakaan allegely ran his car off the road, hitting and killing William Marshall, a 36-year-old father of two.
"Obviously we have some concern about his bond conditions," Ferguson said.
Both cases are still pending, though Ferguson says they do not affect each other.
"The facts are completely separate if we went to trial," he said.
After his most recent arrest, Sakaan posted $250 bond within hours, and is free once again.
Ferguson maintains Sakaan's innocence in both cases.
Sakaan is due in court Wednesday morning.
