Usher to be honored by National Civil Rights Museum

(WMC-TV) - The National Civil Rights Museum is honoring R&B superstar Usher for his philanthropic work.

"Usher's New Look Foundation… certifies young people in four leadership pillars – talent, education, career and service – to ensure their success as leaders throughout the world," according to a statement from the museum.

Usher, who's won multiple Grammy's and almost two dozen Billboard Music Awards, will be presented the Freedom Award for Philanthropy during a special ceremony on November 12.
