PHOENIX (CNN/KTVK) - Rock star Bret Michaels is donating a music room to a Phoenix hospital.
The Poison front man plans to help create and design a music center for St. Joseph's Barrow Neurological Institute.
Michaels was treated for a brain hemorrhage at St. Joseph's in April 2010.
The new room will include listening stations and relaxation areas.
Michaels says he hopes the music will help patients and their families cope.
