(CNN) - A new study has linked soda to aggression in teenagers.
For the study, researchers asked nearly 2,000 high school students how many non-diet sodas they drank the previous week, and whether they carried a weapon or were violent, according to USA Today.
The results revealed that 59 percent of those drinking more than a dozen sodas a week had been violent.
While researchers say there's an association between drinking and violence, they don't believe it is a cause and effect.
Violent tendencies may already be present in the teens.
