This week's "Your Turn" segment goes to Pat Pate. Pate is unhappy about the Wisconsin group called Freedom From Religion which is trying to get crosses removed from the water towers in two West Tennessee towns.
In Pate's words:
While I am generally supportive of people's right to speech, I am finding myself more aggravated lately. When did freedom mean that a small minority of non-believers have the authority to prevent others from their own expressions, actions and comments? First, the DeSoto football game where people wanted to pray on school property. Now, the two small towns that have had crosses on their water towers, for a long time. Intolerance is not good in a public arena, no matter who is making the intolerant decisions.
That's Pat Pate's turn. Now it's your turn. To comment on this segment or anything else, email email@example.com or call 800-465-1210.
