Early morning crash sends two Memphis police officers to hospital

(WMC-TV) – A three car crash in Midtown Memphis sends several people to the hospital including two Memphis police officers.

That accident happened at the intersection of Union Avenue and South Cleveland Street just before three Tuesday morning.

A squad car was heading southbound on Cleveland when it was T-boned by the driver of a red vehicle.

That caused a chain reaction with a third car.

A total of five people were taken to area hospitals in non-critical condition.

No word yet if any charges will be filed as a result of the crash.
