(WMC-TV) - A Madison County, Tennessee, man was sentenced to 14 years behind bars after he pled guilty to a deadly hit and run accident that killed a 12-year-old girl and two horses in June.
Richard White pled guilty to reckless vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of an accident, tampering with evidence, driving on a revoked license and marijuana possession.
White slammed his pickup into a group of horseback riders, killing 12-year-old Amber Kendrick.
After the crash, Kendrick took the license plate off of his truck and fled the scene. He was arrested later in the day.
