FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Greg Childs is ready to prove he's over last season's knee injury.
The Arkansas wide receiver led the Razorbacks in receiving as a sophomore in 2009 and was leading the team again last season before a season-ending knee injury in the eighth game against Vanderbilt.
Childs had a career-low 16 catches for 192 yards this season, but his on-the-field struggles never affected his attitude off the field.
His teammates and coaches say Childs has remained positive through his struggles and the death of his grandmother earlier in the season.
For his part, Childs is eager to prove his health when No. 7 Arkansas (10-2) faces No. 11 Kansas State (10-2) in the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 6, as well as while preparing to play in the NFL next season.
