Plea bargain in works by unruly passenger

(AP) - Documents filed in federal court in Memphis indicate a man charged with interfering with an airline crew will enter a plea bargain.

Bryan Allen Sisco of Atlanta had been scheduled for trial next month. Details of the proposed settlement have not been disclosed, according to The Commercial Appeal.

Police arrested Sisco in May after another passenger on a Delta Air Lines flight told attendants Sisco had a butane lighter and claimed to have a gas canister that could put everyone aboard the plane to sleep. The Dallas-to-Atlanta flight was diverted to Memphis after the incident. Sisco said he drank too much alcohol.

He is free on bond. No date has been set for a change-of-plea hearing.

Sisco has been banned from Delta flights for life.
