Program offers emotional support for storm victims

(AP) - A program that offers emotional support for people affected by natural disasters - including severe storms and flooding in 2010 and 2011 - continues to offer aid.

The Tennessee Recovery Project is a nonprofit organization that has offices in Jackson, Nashville and Memphis.

Erin Bellinger, a crisis counselor and team leader in Jackson, says the services provided are confidential and free. She said the program's primary goal is to help people affected by storms and floods since May 2010.

She told The Jackson Sun that team leaders are looking for people who still need aid because "every little bit helps."
