Teen charged as adult in deadly Christmas shooting

(WMC-TV) - A 16-year-old has been charged as an adult in connection to the drive-by shooting that killed a Memphis high school student on Christmas Day.

Christopher K. Collins was officially charged as an adult Wednesday in a Marshall County courtroom. The teenager is facing one count of murder and four counts of drive-by shooting. Collins is being held on $50,000 bond.

Corey Albright, who also goes by the name of Corey Pool, was arrested last week for the shooting.

The 31-year-old has been charged with one count of murder in the Christmas Day death of Derica Patterson and five counts of drive-by shooting.

Rico R. Fleming, another man wanted in connection to the case, was added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Most Wanted List Wednesday.
