(WMC-TV) – A Memphis man is behind bars after police say he robbed the same victim twice in less than a week.

Cornell Brown robbed a man as he walking near Millbranch and Shelby Drive around 2 p.m. on December 18, according to police. The victim told officers Brown put a pistol to his head while another man held a gun to his back. Police say the thieves made off with $145.

Several days later, the same victim was near Millbranch and Deercreek Circle when Brown and an unidentified man allegedly robbed him again. The man told officers the pair of crooks hopped out of a Chevy Malibu and Brown aimed a pistol at him and demanded money. Investigators say the pair got away with $15 and the victim's cell phone.

Brown is facing two counts of aggravated robbery.
