Former Memphis basketball player hoping to compete in dunk competition

(WMC-TV) - Memphians may remember the name James Justice from his days hooping it up at Craigmont High School and Southwest Tennessee Community College.

Now you can help the little man get some big-time recognition by voting for him to represent his school at the State Farm Slam Dunk Contest.

Justice, now senior All-American point guard at Martin Methodist in Pulaski, Tennessee, has moved into the final four round for the Dark-Horse Dunker competition.

Nominees are under-the-radar players who have what it takes to compete against the D-I field in New Orleans.

At just 5-10, "Lil'" James Justice has proven time and time again that you can't judge a player by his small stature.

The winner will compete at the NCAA Division I Final Four dunk contest held in New Orleans on March 29.
