(WMC-TV) – Sen. Bob Corker was in Memphis today talking about bringing in jobs and who is the best candidates for the presidency.

It was a roundtable meeting with the Memphis Society of Entrepreneurs that brought Corker to the Bluff City, but he couldn't help but also talk about Super Tuesday.

Corker met with business and community leaders to talk about the state of the economy and jobs.

While Corker believes the economy is improving, he also believes it is up to Washington to create long-term policies that help businesses create jobs.

Corker says part of this responsibility also falls on the president.

He was also surprised how significant tomorrow's Super Tuesday is in Tennessee.

"Typically by the time it gets to Super Tuesday, Tennessee is kind of, it doesn't matter, but in this race it does," he said. "It's kind of exciting."

Corker said he hasn't endorsed any of the candidates, but said did cast his ballot during early voting.

The Senator says he will be back in Washington for tomorrow's vote, but he will be watching to see what Tennessee decides.
