(WMC-TV) - For the second year in a row, the Memphis Tigers find themselves in the NCAA tournament. Unlike last year, the Tigers actually hope to make some noise at this year's dance.
A strong run would also mean a proper send-off for senior Wesley Witherspoon, who knows every game he plays could be his last in a Memphis uniform.
Witherspoon's teammates believe he could be a difference maker in Friday's game.
"I just try to bring something different to the table," said Witherspoon. "Just doing the little things the guys don't get credit for."
"A lot of stuff he does, he doesn't get the kind of exposure the other players get to the team," said Chris Crawford.
The Tigers take on the St. Louis Billikens in Columbus, Ohio Friday.
