(WMC-TV) - The Memphis Tigers will take on the Saint Louis University Billikens Friday in the NCAA tournament.
Bank of Bartlett and Bartlett Travel also kicked off the first of what fans hope will be many more chartered flights to watch NCAA tournament play.
"Everyone is ready for this day. I couldn't sleep last night," said Chao Lin with Bank of Bartlett. "Some fans got here at 7:00 a.m. and we're just ready to go to Columbus."
Bank of Bartlett and Bartlett Travel have chartered the fan-filled flights since the 2005 Motor City Bowl in Michigan. Friday's flight was packed with 132 of the plane's 137 seats booked.
Most of the fliers were reserved on the outside, but that likely changed once the plane went wheels up.
"When they get on the plane, that's when the hooping and hollering will start," said Tigers fan Gay Manasco.
Tigers fans were confident this trip will include watching the Tigers play Michigan State Sunday night.
"I think we can certainly beat Saint Louis today, but then we have to play Michigan Sunday," said Manasco. "But, you know, any given day anybody can win."
