(WMC-TV) - Memphis Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph spent Saturday giving back to the community.
For the third year in a row, Randolph helped needy families pay their utility bills. Saturday, he visited with senior citizens and presented a $20,000 check to MIFA.
The money will cover utility costs at 100 homes in the Memphis area.
"I've been blessed to give back and I do this from the heart because I've been in situations like this," said Randolph.
Randolph said he hopes the money will help families recover from financial stress and keep cool this summer.
