(WMC-TV) – A 20-year-old Germantown man is dead after what neighbors describe as a house party in Rossville, TN. Now, the homeowner's son is under arrest.

At this point, Rossville police have no reason to believe the drug arrest is connected to the young man's death other than the fact that both occurred at the same house where police do not believe there was a party.

Neighbors say they knew something went terribly wrong inside this house on St. Patrick's Day when a body was brought out that night.

"The parents had driven up and the mother was beside herself," said Rick Ransom.

Rossville police now identify the victim as Cameron Hunter Karr of Germantown.

Despite claims by neighbors that Karr died during an "unsupervised" house party, Police Chief David Hamric said there is no evidence of that since Karr himself was an adult.

"I have no knowledge of there being a house party going on," said Hamric. "The house was normal. When we got there, there were three people there."

The son of the homeowners, 24-year-old Ramil Mize, was arrested after police say they found drugs inside the home.

Police say they found heroin and cocaine at the home.

Police say Cameron Karr's body was sent to Memphis for an autopsy which will determine exactly how he died.

Police say they have only been called to that house previously in relation to parking complaints.

They say no one called Saturday to report anything prior to the young man's death.
