(WMC-TV) - Memphis Tigers sophomore guard Will Barton announced Thursday he will leave the University of Memphis and enter the NBA draft.
The Conference USA Player of the Year was a five-star recruit for the Tigers out of Baltimore. He lead the Tigers in both scoring and rebounding, averaging more than 18 points and eight rebounds a game.
Tigers head coach Josh Pastner said his information is Barton could be selected anywhere from the 18th to the 33rd pick. Anything after 30th is in the second found and not guaranteed money.
Barton still has until April 10 to take his name out of the draft.
