Ark. senator: No 'Girls Gone Wild' intern this summer

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas Sen. Mark Pryor says his internship program isn't going wild.

Pryor's office on Wednesday denied a claim that the winner of a contest put on by the "Girls Gone Wild" video empire will intern in Pryor's office this summer.

A press release sent nationally under founder Joe Francis' name Tuesday and posted on the Girls Gone Wild website said the internship would be part of the prize package for the winner of "The Search for the Hottest Girl in America."

The release says Francis purchased the internship at a fundraiser for a Los Angeles-based temple last weekend. But Pryor's spokeswoman says the senator's office does not sell or auction its internships and calls the release a "hoax."

A call to the Girls Gone Wild office was not immediately returned.
