(WMC-TV) – The Hardeman County Sheriff's Department is working with several agencies to locate a mother and her three children. They have not been seen since Friday morning.

A man tells WMC-TV that officials found the SUV belonging to Jo Ann Bain, and her children, Adrienne, 14, Alexandria, 12, and Kyliyah, 8, on his property Monday afternoon.

"The vehicle was left of our farm and when I got there, they had it roped off and deputies were checking it," said Jerry Wilson. "I just asked what it was and they said it was a lady and three children missing, and it was their car."

So far, investigators have not confirmed what they may have found in that vehicle. They also have not said if they believe foul play is involved.

"It's kinda a quiet neighborhood," Wilson explained. "There's been several cars left back there and burned, but the road is not traveled much."

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the Bain family is asked to call the Hardeman County Sheriff's Department at 731-658-3971.
