(WMC-TV) - JoAnne Bain and her daughters, 14-year-old Adrienne, 12-year-old Alexandria, and 8-year-old Kyliyah, have been missing since last week.
Bain's husband said his wife and three daughters were gone when he woke up Friday morning.
The family was moving to Arizona and he said he had a Uhaul packed and ready to go Friday.
Monday morning, the family car, a bronze 2000 Dodge Durango, was discovered abandoned in a field not too far from the family's home.
Investigators searched the area for several hours, but no one seems to know what to think about the disappearance in the rural area near Whiteville.
"I don't know," said Ray Kaufman, who lives nearby. "I just found out about it. I don't know what to think about it. It happens all the time. Just one of those things. I understand she lived just down the road."
The Hardeman County Sheriff issued a release saying investigators are looking over the Durango for clues about what happened to the family.
Investigators also looked at security surveillance video from a business near the family home to see if the family's Durango drove by, but it was not clear enough to see the make of the cars that drove by.
The Hardeman County Sheriff says the TBI and the FBI are helping in the investigation.
Joanne Bain's husband said he just wants his family back.
